recovery service will allow our technician to take over your
computer and recover your data. One of our certified data
recovery experts will come into your computer over the internet
using GoToMyPC service. Send us a note with the email
address, and 2 passwords (we recommend you create passwords
specifically for this procedure, and that you do not use your
regular confidential passwords) that you used to setup the
account. Once this data has been confirmed, one of our
technicians will take over your machine, and recover you data to a
folder named RECOVERED DATA on your desktop. It is also
recommend that if you have a DVR that you leave a blank disk in your
drive, to save your data on.
We will apply our proprietary
data recovery software to your damaged drive and move your data to a
safe area. Remote
recovery service can solve many simple logical, and even some mild
mechanical problems. This service is most appropriate
for users who can start Windows and have broad band access to the
internet.
If this doesn't work for your
problem, we may suggest a that your media be submitted to one of our
labs for direct recovery. In that case up to $250 will be
applied to your final cost, based upon remote repair service charges
incurred. However, remote service is billed based upon
the time and efforts of the technician, not on the basis of success.
Therefore you must understand that no refunds are available after
the service has been commenced.
